Multitasking...

My sister emailed me this funny scrapbooking story, and I asked her if I could share it....

My scrapbook table is in the guest room facing the window and I usually open the curtains and scrapbook there. Brett got home from skiing today and I usually always freak out about how burned his face is, but today he gets home and says, "Did you go outside? Your face is burnt." I had no idea what he was takling about so I looked in the mirror and sure enough, I got burnt sitting at my table scrapbooking. Can you believe that? hahaha How pathetic is that?

Football by: Natalie

I love this black/white/green layout! I have had green grass paper like this in my stash for years, but haven't ever known how to use it! This is the perfect example! Thanks Natalie!

Just Believe by: Lindsay Doskocil

My friend Lindsay made this ADORABLE layout! She recently started scrapbooking (I had NOTHING to do with it- promise! :)) I am so proud of her progress! I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more of her layouts.....

Picnic by: Britni Rigby

This cute layout is my sister's, and she "borrowed" the layout from Julia's layout 'Remember' posted in February....I love how different paper, different pictures, and individual taste can transform the same layout into something completely unique! That's why I love scraplifting!

Core'dinations

I am DYING to try this new paper line! I love tearing, and how fun to have a new, fun color inside! What a great concept! Has anyone tried these yet? Worth the hype?

In the Tucson area, Page in Progress carries this paper. I called today and they have like 200 colors or something ridiculous like that! They are 65 cents a piece or a packet of 20 for $11.49! Not bad! I'm planning on going soon to get some- let me know if you want to join me!

Summer by: Natalie

This adorable layout can be adapted to any summer/water/sun pictures you have. Felt waves and clear buttons add dimension and texture (both Creative Imaginations). Get ready for all your summer pictures by creating layouts such as these in advance!

ARIZONA by: Jenni Johansen

When using scrapbook paper with a full background, such as these Arizona themed papers, use solid paper to cover up some of the designs so that it doesn't become overwhelming....

dad

This is the layout I made for this month's scrapbook exchange. Nothing too girly on this layout- not even an eyelet (my favorite!) I still need to journal on the little orange tab and the larger orange rectangle....The black 'd' is chipboard, covered in black velvet flock, then sprayed with acrylic coating! That was a fun project!

March Giveaway....

Finally!!! The giveaway this month is this adorable 12 x 12 baby layout! The prize is the pink, girl layout....I'm showing the blue, boy one as well, just so you can see it with pictures....Even if you don't have a girl, or girl pictures, it would make a great baby gift for a scrapbooker, or to start someone out with an album and a layout, or you can always scrapbook a niece, neighbor, or other family member! (If you win, and you really beg, maybe I'll make you a blue boy one if you prefer) :)

All you have to do is leave a comment with a cute, fun baby story, your favorite thing about your baby, your favorite thing about someone else's baby, your favorite celebrity baby, your favorite baby name, or anything having to do with babies! We'll end on the 12th- that's one week! Spread the word....
